SUMMARY:The Quiet Epidemic #MakeLymeLoud Campaign
DESCRIPTION:Share this content:January 21-31: Let’s #MakeLymeLoud\, 50 years after Lyme was first recognized in the U.S.\nIT’S LIVE: #MakeLymeLoud Email Campaign Jan. 21 – 31! \nWe’ve entered a pivotal year for Lyme disease advocacy – 2025 marks 50 years since\nLyme disease was first recognized in the U.S. The Quiet Epidemic (TQE) impact team\nhas launched a community-wide outreach campaign to educate the new Administration. \nFrom January 21 to 31\, this #MakeLymeLoud campaign page will be LIVE with a\npre-written letter for President Trump. The goal is to inform him about the growing threat\nof Lyme and tick-borne diseases and encourage support for key initiatives to prioritize\nsolving this public health crisis. \nIf you want to make an impact for Lyme disease\, this is a quick\, simple\, and free way to\nmake your voice heard. With a change in administration and momentum from recent\nTQE events on Capitol Hill\, this opportunity won’t come again. We need all hands on\ndeck. \nNow that the campaign page is live\, you can:\n1. Send a Letter to President Trump (< 60 seconds)\n2. Share the Call to Action by encouraging your family\, colleagues\, and friends to send\na letter (5 min)\n3. Stay Engaged by spending five minutes a day\, for ten days\, amplifying the campaign\nand recruiting your community to do the same (50 min) \nBeyond educating the new Administration\, the goal is to unite and elevate the Lyme\ncommunity. With your help\, we will #MakeLymeLoud in 2025 in partnership with\nLymeLight Foundation\, Global Lyme Alliance\, Project Lyme\, NatCapLyme\, LymeLnk\,\nCenter for Lyme Action\, Bay Area Lyme Foundation\, Mothers Against Lyme\,\nLymeDisease.org\, Generation Lyme\, Colorado Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Association\, and 20 additional organizations\nacross the country.
