Elevate Awareness Throughout the Month of May!
Join us in supporting our growing community of people affected by Lyme and other TBDs in Colorado, their family members, caregivers and friends, as well as those that have not yet been impacted by these diseases. They are many small things you can do that make a huge impact!
- Post & share your experience with Lyme & TBDs/Conditions via social media platforms and tag us @coloradoticks #FACESOFLYMEINCO #COLORADOTICKS throughout May!
- View, post & share COTBDAA prevention resources to prevent tick bites
- As a conversation starter, wear green throughout the month of May; tie a green ribbon around a tree, a mailbox, a light post, car bumper.
- Write a letter to your representatives or local newspaper, or contact local radio for an interview.
- Ask your local community government officials for a proclamation of Lyme & Other Tick-borne Diseases/Conditions Awareness for the month of May.
- Join the MyLymeData registry! A cure for Lyme disease begins with you. MyLymeData uses big data research tools that allow patients—even thousands or tens of thousands– to quickly and privately pool their data to determine which treatments work best. Register Now!
- Join the Lyme Disease Biobank (LDB) registry. A biobank, also known as a biorepository, stores human biological samples like blood and tissue for use in future research. LDB was created because medical researchers were unable to access the human blood, urine, and tissue samples they needed for their research. Register Now!
