Please join us for a screening of the award-winning Lyme documentary The Quiet Epidemic. The Quiet Epidemic tells the story of a young girl from Brooklyn and a Duke University scientist who are diagnosed with a disease said to not exist: chronic Lyme disease. What begins as a patient story evolves into an investigation into the science and history of Lyme disease, dating back to its discovery in 1975. The film will be followed by a short refreshment break, then a discussion and Q&A with Lyme experts.
