July 2016: Libby Smith from Denver's CBS 4 news station produced a two part mini-series on Lyme in Colorado, elevating the awareness of Lyme and other TBD's in our state. Our previous working group "Biting Back: Elevating Tick Awareness in Colorado" was highlighted, along with our national partner Pat Smith, President of Lyme Disease Association, Inc., patients Billie Shellist and Christine Renner with the Colorado Lyme and TBD Support Group, and the collaborative research work with COTBDAA (previously "Biting Back") by the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies.
